A native of New Orleans, Owner DJ Payne, found himself leaving the confines of his first Petersburg restaurant, Wabi-Sabi, multiple times a year just to get a taste of home. Soon a tradition began….DJ started bringing his Wabi-Sabi staff to the Big Easy each year and treating them to the tastes and styles when finally, it hit him. He should bring the unique flavors of New Orleans to Petersburg! The restaurant opened in the summer of 2016, and offers authentic dishes including crawfish etouffee, jambalaya, po’ boys and of course gumbo.
