Technical Training began at our Virginia Beach location in 1975 and in 1993 Advanced Technology Institute purchased the school and has offered technical training in automotive technology, HVAC/refrigeration systems, diesel and heavy vehicle repair, maritime welding technology, and commercial driving. With a balance of general academics and technical skills, our students’ learning experience prepares them to be placed directly into their respective work field. We partner with community participants, including faculty, alumni, businesses, organizations, professional associations and government, to better serve and place our students upon graduation.
